Are CityPost cable railing systems code compliant?
Yes, our systems are designed to meet International Residential Code (IRC) and International Building Code (IBC) standards, featuring 3-inch cable spacing to ensure they pass the 4-inch sphere test.
What tools are required for installation?
Most installations require basic tools including a drill, a miter saw with a metal cutting blade, a level, a tape measure, and our specialized cable crimping tool provided in our installation kits.
How long does shipping take for custom railing orders?
Standard kits typically ship within 3-5 business days. Custom powder-coated orders or specific structural modifications may take 2-3 weeks for fabrication and delivery.
What is your return policy for railing components?
We offer a 30-day return policy on all standard, non-customized stock components in original condition. Please note that custom-cut cables and custom-painted posts are non-refundable.
Do you offer a warranty on the finish and hardware?
Yes, CityPost provides a limited lifetime warranty on our stainless steel hardware and a 10-year warranty on our powder-coated aluminum finishes against peeling or cracking.
Can I install CityPost systems on both wood and concrete surfaces?
Absolutely. We offer specific mounting hardware and base plates designed for secure attachment to both wood decking and concrete patios or balconies.
